Dear Parents/Guardians,

　　Life as we know it has changed so incredibly much over the past few days. It is currently the season of high incidence of infectious diseases - novel coronavirus. First and foremost, keep your own physical and mental well-being in mind!

　　1) Exercise effective health and epidemic prevention work at home. Strengthen the self-protection of children and family members. Please often open windows and properly keep rooms ventilated. Cultivate children to develop good hygiene habits including regular hand washing, especially before meals, before and after going to the toilet and after returning home. Wash hands with soap or hand sanitizer containing alcohol. Cover mouth and nose with a tissue or handkerchief or cover with sleeve when coughing or sneezing, and wash hands immediately afterwards.

　　2) Avoid taking children to crowded public places with poor air flow. Avoid close contact with people who have flu or cold-like symptoms. Make sure to wear masks when going outside, especially going to hospitals. If you have a respiratory illness, please wear a mask and keep a distance of at least 1 meter from others.

　　3) Conduct safe outdoor exercise, be regularly exposed to the sun, and strengthen immune system. Eat thoroughly cooked meat and eggs. Drink more water and eat fresh vegetables and fruit. Have good rest.

　　4) Avoid going to Wuhan or the surrounding areas, avoid contacting wild animals or farmed livestock without sufficient protection. Avoid going to crowded places. If a student or his/her family member is infected by the novel coronavirus, the parent should inform the homeroom teacher immediately. Before the new semester starts, the school will collect the students’ information and their health status if they have been to Wuhan during the winter vacation.

　　5) Let’s work together to take effective measures to curb the spread the virus and create a safe and healthy environment for the children.
