Following the instructions of the Ministry of Education, Changchun Foreign Languages School(CFLS) has postponed the start of the new semester, and began offering online education by last week, in a bid to prevent the novel coronavirus from entering schools. In response to the direction of“Combating the Epidemic, Suspension of Schools but Not of Learning”, all the teachers have designed and developed various meaningful online teaching activities and projects to facilitate students’ search and participation in curriculum learning.It is the comprehensive and meticulous working attitude of these teachers that shortens the gap between teachers and students.

　　The school closure during the epidemic outbreak has not stopped our students from learning as they turn to the internet to attend classes, bolstering the rise of e-learning. Our diligent head teachers got up early to see if every student in their classes had registered their attendance online. They started their school days at home on laptops and smart phones.

　　So far, almost everyone is able to watch the videos on different subjects and hand in homework online all by themselves. This is also a valuable opportunity to improve students' autonomous learning ability.

　　Most of the students have developed the good habit of getting up early in the morning, which plays a crucial part in preparing them for their normal school lives later on. Most of the parents think the online learning platform is easy to operate and suitable for the students because of the attractive design on every subject’s content. Some eyesight protection tips and exercises on PE is available for students as well. We all believe that all the teachers, students, and their parents will work together with love and faith to continue with our school fun on line!
