Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

　　The Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), established in 1989, has more than 25,000 students and 1,500 lecturers. It has modern facilities and equipment, with Wi-Fi area in all its centres.

　　The ULPGC offers the university community a wide range of cultural and sports activities to complement academic learning, promoting values such as solidarity, social justice, gender equality, and respect for diversity and the environment among members of the community.

　　The ULPGC is a leading university in e-learning. Degrees and Master programmes as well as a wide range of courses at all learning levels are offered online. The ULPGC has signed agreements with universities from the five continents, to facilitate the mobility of teachers, researchers, students, and administrative staff.

　　In 2007, the ULPGC won the Quality Award for Public Service and Special Mention for Best Management Practices, both from the Government of the Canary Islands. In 2010, the ULPGC was evaluated by an International Comittee and earned the qualification of Campus of International Excellence, from the Ministry of Education of the Government of Spain.

　　It also develops an intense work in the field of development cooperation. It is worth noting the achievement of several UNESCO Chairs at the ULPGC.

Dhurakij Pundit University

　　Founded in 1968, Dhurakij Pundit University is a private higher education institution located in the metropolis of Bangkok (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Thailand, Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU) is a coeducational higher education institution. Université de Rennes 1

Nagasaki University

　　The history of Nagasaki University goes all the way back to November 12th, 1857 when a Dutch naval surgeon, Dr. Pompe established Igaku Denshusho, which was the oldest medical school in Japan.Although Nagasaki Medical College Igaku Denshusho was completely demolished on August 9th 1945 by the atomic bomb, it miraculously revived like a phoenix.Now Igaku Denshusho has grown into a very important university that comprises 8 faculties (Education, Economics, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Studies and Fisheries), affiliated hospitals, libraries and the Institute of Tropical Medicine.Nagasaki University now has 9,000 students including some 300 international students from Asia, Africa and other parts of the world.
