Changchun Foreign Language School(CFLS) is a famous school with a history of 57 years. The students in CFLS inherit the fine cultural tradition of the school, advance bravely and look to the future. While they have made many achievements at home and abroad, they are grateful to their alma mater.

　　On September 1st, Li Yutong, an outstanding graduate of the class of 2017 from CFLS, returned to his alma mater to visit the principal and teachers, and had a profound exchange of learning experience with the students in the first year of senior high school. In the process, the students not only broadened their horizons, but also in great benefits of listening to the speech.

　　Li Yutong graduated from Changchun Foreign Language School three years ago and was sent to Shanghai Jiaotong University in the first "Principal's direct recommendation" program of our school. During her schooling, Li Yutong was the president of the Student Union and was excellent in both moral and academic performance. She is currently a member of the presidium of Shanghai Jiaotong University Student Union. As a representative of Shanghai Jiaotong University and head of the Shanghai delegation, she participated in the 27th Congress of the all-China Federation of students. She won the title of Scholarship of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Outstanding League cadre, Outstanding Student and League member of Shanghai Jiaotong University. She has been to National University of Singapore and Yale University for overseas exchange and study.

　　In her speech, Li Yutong talked about her rich experience in college, from winning various types of scholarships to organizing and participating in many social practice activities, from Yale University exchange and study, to organizing exchange activities of young elites between China and Japan.When recalling the days when she studied in Changchun Foreign Language School, Li Yutong introduced her experiences on learning methods, learning efficiency and learning atmosphere. She recalled and introduced campus activities such as "Model Union", "Ancient Poetry Conference" and "Foreign Language Culture Festival", with special reference to the Students' quinceanera.

　　Subsequently, Li Yutong elaborated on effective ways to study. During her speech, She asked students a handful of common studying questions which instantly stimulated enthusiasm amongst the audience.Her speech helped students gain in-depth understandings on the interesting facts about learning skills and productive studying habits. Hopefully, students can learn more effectively and efficiently in the future.After that, she encouraged the students to be grateful for the humanistic accumulation and scientific accomplishment brought to them by their alma mater, and to be a navigator with ideals and pursuits, colleagues with enthusiasm and responsibility, and spokespersons with requirements and actions.

　　Principal Wang Hao once said to the students: "No matter how long the shadow of the tree is pulled by dusk, it is always connected with the roots; no matter how far you go, your alma mater is always connected with you."
