On the afternoon of May 28, 2019, Changchun Foreign Language School was honored to have Dr. Randy Gallaway from the United States, who is a motivational speaker travels throughout the world to inspire your vision and help you to realize that everything is possible.

　　However, this person who brings encouragement and love to everyone has experienced more suffering than most of us. When he was 18 years old, he was scorched with 13,000 volts of electricity and was amputated. The pain was beyond belief! He was knocked out and out of consciousness. After losing his hands, he underwent dozens of surgeries, overcame the pain and suffering caused by the operation, and completed his college studies and obtained his doctorate with indomitable perseverance.

　　Randy told the students that during the treatment, he learned a lot about pain, sadness, anger, acceptance, courage, hope and perseverance. "The source of happiness is in my heart, and my experience tells me that happiness is love, giving and tolerance! So we should not only find happiness, but also help others find happiness. When you complete these tasks, you will be satisfied!" He encouraged the students that tomorrow is a new day and never give up. He also talked about how to find your dream and how to discover amazing capabilities in your life. If you put your advantages to the world, you will always have work and joy because you are doing what you’re made to do.

　　When it came to the question session, Dr. Randy and students interacted with each other actively. After the lecture, Dr. Randy signed the books for the students and took group photos. Dr. Randy said that sharing the secret and meaning of life with students this time is to encourage children to grow up in a more active and positive way, to face the troubles in life optimistically and strongly, and to love life, to have a better future.
